Final Reflection
Looking at this collection, I found that I learned the importance of having a purpose, and trying to be clear in message delivery. This came from writing the eulogy piece in it's original state. By the time you read through the first paragraph you would be lost in all the first person and lack of any real clarity at all. After learning that the true point of the piece had disappeared between the words, it had to be changed.
The best piece in this collection is the eulogy however. When reading through it you do get the main message in the text. Even though it was flawed at first admittedly, it truly does support the theme statement of the voices of people being gone. Dead, even. The worst piece, or at least the one to be least proud of is the visual/multimedia piece. I find it does the job of getting the point across of the 21st century mindset.
I believe that the main strength of this collection is the word choice used. There are places where word choice could be better of course, but I feel like overall it is a main strength. To add, The way the main idea is presented through the eulogy in particular is one I'm proud of, for it's creative enough to keep a person's attention, and still sound like a eulogy. Something meant to bring comfort.
The issue I feel left unanswered is just how to change things. Though that isn't really the purpose of this collection. It most likely would have been beneficial to try to offer solutions but to be honest, they likely wouldn't have been listened to at all. Then again, I can't really think of any true solutions, just questions and problems. It's a teetering scale of which expression balances on. It's hard to add the tiniest bit to one side when the other could easily be outweighed. But if you do not change anything, the scale could just be moved by a single light breeze and be sent off, never to be balanced.
