Dear Reader
In this multi-genre collection you will see three different forms of text, and one visual piece. These pieces are meant to explore the theme statement of: Political correctness is now trying to police the way people think, their opinions, and how they express themselves. The fiction piece is a eulogy written to explore the idea of voice “dieing” and no longer being what it was. Hence the choice of a eulogy. The non-fiction is a sonnet style Poem that talks about one of the first things to be censored in public due to people making it seem wrong: Merry Christmas. And follows a person talking about this. The visual piece is one that is meant to show how even groups that claim to be for everyone's sake, just want what is said to be what they want. The informational piece is also meant to follow this idea. This brings me to the repetend, the commonality that draws all of these together. Throughout every piece you will find the common idea of people not being able to say what they want to. Now, obviously there are limits, the “N” word and other racist things to say, but this collection is meant to show how people now do not feel safe to speak their minds anymore.
So without any longer a wait, enjoy the literature (and picture).
